Make your help center private
Switch your help center from Open to Locked mode so visitors must sign in before viewing any content.
Add yourself (optional)
In the dashboard, go to Help Center, then under Manage, click Access Control. Open the Users tab and click Add user to create your own account. Adding a user is not required to lock the help center, but it lets you test the sign-in flow before you switch.
Switch to Locked
Select Locked under Default access, enable at least one visitor sign-in method, then click Save changes.
Enable a sign-in method
On the Access tab, set up JWT identify in the User identification section if you want silent authentication. Then enable one or more locked-mode visitor sign-in methods: Magic Links, OIDC SSO, or a Shared password.
Test the sign-in flow
Open your help center URL in an incognito or private browser window. Confirm you are redirected to the sign-in page, then sign in and verify you can access articles.
