Make your help center private

Switch your help center from Open to Locked mode so visitors must sign in before viewing any content.

Add yourself first

In the dashboard, go to Help Center, then under Manage, click Access Control. Open the Users tab and click Add user to create your own account before you lock the help center.

Switch to Locked

Select Locked under Default access, then click Save changes.

Enable a sign-in method

On the Access tab, enable one or more authentication options: Magic Links, OIDC SSO, JWT, or a Shared password.

Test the sign-in flow

Open your help center URL in an incognito or private browser window. Confirm you are redirected to the sign-in page, then sign in and verify you can access articles.
