How AI answers work
The AI assistant answers questions using your published knowledge base. When you ask a question, it searches your articles, finds relevant content, and generates a response with citations to source articles.
Content scope
AI answers come from your published articles only. Drafts, unpublished changes, and internal notes are not included.
If you have no published articles, the AI cannot answer most questions. Publish at least one article before enabling AI answers.
Citations
Every AI answer includes clickable citations that link to the source articles. Click a citation to read the full article for more context.
API access
Developers can search published articles programmatically using the Articles API. The API accepts full questions and returns ranked results from your knowledge base.
For endpoint details, authentication, and response formats, see the API Reference.
