How to edit collection translations
Edit a collection's translated name and description directly in the collection editor. This is useful when you want to customize how a collection appears in a specific language without going to the global translations dashboard.
The Translations section only appears when your help center has multiple languages enabled and the collection already has translation data.
Edit a collection translation
Open the collection editor
Click ⋮ on any collection and select Edit collection.
Expand the Translations section
If the collection has translations, a Translations section appears below the description field.
Select a language
Click a language row to expand it.
Edit the translation
Edit the Translated name and Translated description.
Save your changes
Click Save translation. Each language saves independently.
The translation mode label shows whether the translation is Manual (edited by you) or Automatic (AI-generated).
Switch back to automatic translation
If you manually edited a translation and want to restore AI translation, click Switch to automatic in the expanded language row. This marks the translation for retranslation and overwrites your manual edits.
The Switch to automatic option only appears for translations you have manually edited.
