Manage the Chrome extension

Start a new conversation to clear the chat, turn Fern off for a single site, disable the extension, or remove it completely.

Clear the chat history

Click the New conversation button at the top of the side panel to start a new conversation. Previous messages are removed from view.

Turn Fern off for one site

Open the extension popup and use the switch for the current site. With Fern off for a site, nothing is added to that site.

Disable the extension temporarily

1. Go to chrome://extensions/ in your browser.

2. Find "Ferndesk" in the list.

3. Toggle the switch to disable.

Uninstall the extension

1. Right-click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.

2. Select Remove from Chrome.

3. Click Remove in the confirmation dialog.

Alternatively, go to chrome://extensions/, find "Ferndesk", and click Remove.
