Filter content in your Help Center
Narrow the Help Center content browser to specific articles with the Filter content control. Open your Help Center in the dashboard and click Filter content, then choose from the facets: Status, Audience, User groups, Verification, and Listed in. The filter button shows a count of your active filters, and Clear all appears while any filter is active.
Status
Status is a single-select facet with three options: All, Published, and Draft. Choosing an option replaces the previous selection, and All clears the status filter.
Audience
The Audience facet appears only when help center authentication is available. It is single-select with three options: All, Public, and Signed in. Articles restricted to specific user groups are found through the User groups facet instead.
User groups
User groups appears only when help center authentication is available and your workspace has at least one user group. It is a multi-select facet, and each option is labeled with the group's name. An article matches when it belongs to any of the groups you select.
Filter by verification status
The Verification facet has four options: All, Verified, Needs fixes, and Unverified. Verified shows articles Fern checked and found accurate, Needs fixes shows articles with flagged claims, and Unverified includes articles without a current verification and articles otherwise ineligible for Verified, including unpublished articles and articles with an entry date. See Verify your help center articles for how verification works.
Listed in
Listed in is a multi-select facet with four options: Everywhere, Unlisted, Hidden, and AI assistant only. Each option toggles independently, so you can combine them, for example to show articles that are unlisted or hidden from the help center.
Combine and clear filters
Within a multi-select facet, an article matches when it satisfies any selected option. Across facets, an article must satisfy every facet you set. Status, Audience, and Verification each hold one value at a time, like radio buttons.
Collections stay visible when they contain matching articles, and the browser keeps only the articles that match all your filters. When nothing matches, the content browser shows No articles match these filters. Click Clear all to reset your filters.
Filters don't search article text. To find articles by their content or title, use the separate Search articles action in the sidebar, which opens a search dialog.
