What requires credits
Only creating new articles with Fern requires publish credits. When you try to generate a new article at zero credits, you'll get an error message.

Getting more credits
To restore AI article generation, buy publish credits ($0.50 each) or wait for your plan credits to reset at the next billing period.
Scale plan users have unlimited AI publishing and never run out of credits.
